Anonymous asked: what's that award medal on your jacket in the picture?
That’s a piece of vintage Ukrainian/Soviet militaria. It was given to first-responders to Chernobyl. Tal found it online somewhere and got it for me for last Christmas because I love stuff like that. Apparently it’s the only medal ever awarded for participating in a nuclear clean-up operation.
